On quantum physics? I think it’s awesome. I did a few modules on quantum mechanics in my degree and it’s really interesting. If it’s something you’re interested in, I’d recommend reading In Search of Schroedinger’s Cat, it’s a good introduction to all the weirdness of quantum mechanics 🙂
Quantum physics is really interesting, though can be brain-meltingly difficult to comprehend. As a chemist, quantum mechanics is surprisingly useful – it tells us where electrons are found in atoms and how things might respond to photons of light landing on them.
My favourite fact is that quantum theory was developed in 1900 (by Max Plank) so the divide between Newtonian physics and Quantum physics occurs exactly at the start of the 20th century.
Great Q. Scientists working in this field must be super clever because for me quantum physics is plain crazy. It also shows just how complex and amazing the world around us is.
