  In solar panels, a colourful layer will capture the sunlight that lands on the panel and absorb its energy. This energy can then be used to power our electrical items. The colourful layer might only absorb a small part of the sunlight that lands on it – the rest is wasted. I’m trying to help solar power development by improving these layers by finding molecules that will absorb more parts of sunlight, so that less is wasted in a solar panel.

Question: how would your work help the development of solar power
