Question: Hi Nicolas, Is working in a lab a bit boring?

I don’t think so. In fact I think it’s really interesting!
Lab works involves doing a lot of different things, experiments on different materials, thinking of ideas and working on solutions to lots of different puzzles. Because there are so many different types of thing to do, most days are different and that stops it from being boring.

Of course something will only be interesting if you like it, so when you are thinking of what job you might like to do, choose one that you find interesting, otherwise it might feel boring.
