• Question: Why are you so interested in the Baudet du Poitou?

      Because they are very cute and good natured. Look them up and you’ll see what I mean. I like donkeys anyway; we used to have one at the bottom of the garden when I was a child. I went to visit the breeding centre for Baudets de Poitou a few years ago and spent some time in a field full of Mum and baby donkeys. They were very friendly and just such nice animals, it would be a shame to see the breed disappear.
