0 Question: Why do cheetahs have spots? Asked by Pads234?⚡️? to Ajay, Kate, Kuntal, Pip, Reka on 14 Nov 2016.
Reka Nagy answered on 14 Nov 2016:
They help cheetahs hide by making them blend into their surroundings better. It’s not just their fur that’s spotted, their skin is as well. And now I’m giggling while thinking of the mental image of a shaved cheetah.
Kuntal Singh answered on 15 Nov 2016:
Cheetahs have spots because it allows them to camouflage and hide from their prey. That makes them very effective predator.
