• Question: what has been the worst situation with a child?

      I think any time when a child is brought into the emergency room by ambulance and their heart has stopped beating is a terrible time. Most of the time this is due to some tragic accident like drowning. Sometimes we can get the heart starting again but by then there might be brain damage from lack of oxygen to the brain. These are the kinds of situations I find particularly hard.
