It spins around really fast in order to simulate acceleration (G) that may be experienced by astronauts and jet-fighter pilots travelling at very high speeds inside space- or aircraft.
Travelling at very high speeds can cause loss of consciousness and even death because blood moves away from the brain. Training in a g-force chamber by gradually increasing the acceleration makes these people’s bodies more used to such forces.
