The tallest known plants are redwood trees, also known as sequoia. Most of these are found in the state of California in the United States and they can grow as high as 91 meters, or 300 feet.

The tallest of these is a tree called Hyperion (yes, it has a name!) and it is 115 meters (379 feet) tall. That’s as tall as stacking 70 people on top of each other!
