      Good question! I had to look this up. Apparently in 2014 there were 1.76million researchers in the European Union. The EU is fantastic for science and means massive projects, like the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, are possible. It also helps bring people together to find solutions to all kind of problems we’re facing like diseases and climate change.
