Disability means a reduction in how able you are to do something as a result of an impairment in a function of the body.
Some people have lots of disabilities, especially if they have suffered a significant brain injury because the brain is so important in telling the rest of the body what to do. With very bad brain damage, a person might not be able to move, speak, see, hear, remember, interact, or even sometimes breathe. You don’t usually see people with disabilities this bad because they are usually looked after in a hospital or have round-the-clock care at home.
