• Question: have you ever treated some one with a bola and what is abola

      I haven’t although I once went to a talk by some people that had, they were very impressive! Pip probably knows what it is better than I do so I’ll leave that to him 🙂

      I think you are thinking of Ebola, which is a horrible disease caused by a virus. Like other viral diseases, it infects humans by using the body’s own resources to help the virus reproduce. Because of its structure it binds more to particular cells including endothelial cells (lining blood vessels) which causes leakage of blood from small vessels, and liver cells, resulting in abnormal blood clotting. The combination of effects results in the uncontrollable bleeding commonly seen in patients with ebola.
