Question: why do we call the maker of nature mother nature

The idea of “mother nature” goes back to the Ancient Greeks, but earlier civilisations around the world also have their own personifications or gods of nature.

In reality, no one is the maker of nature – evolution and natural selection have produced many different ecosystems that aren’t controlled by anyone!
