• Question: why do humans not hibernate

      Animals hibernate because when it is very cold they need more food to function properly.

      When it’s cold there is less food around, plants grow better in the summer! So the animals can’t find enough to function.

      So instead they hibernate.

      Humans don’t need to do this because we can stay warm in our homes and we have a good supply of food all year round
