      Thomas Edison wasn’t actually the first to invent the lightbulb! He improved the design a lot and made them practical to use, but the idea had been around for a little while!

      The idea goes back to when people found that you could make a metal wire glow if you heated it enough! This idea was gradually worked on until we got lightbulbs not too different to the ones we use today!
