Question: Why will you need money to create sign language?

We don’t need money to create the signs (although we need a lot of experts in science and sign language to donate their time), but we do need money to spread the word and teach people the new signs. There’s no point in creating the signs if nobody is able to use them so we’re doing two things.

1) We’re going to create a website where we’ll have videos of the new signs, plus explanations of what the signs mean and how we came up with them. This also gives sign language users a chance to tell us what they think of our signs and how we can improve them.

2) We’re making a documentary about light (and the quantum physics of light) where we’re be using the new signs to talk about the science.
