I wanted to be an astronomer when I was really young -I must have been inspired by a book or a film, I can’t remember now 🙂 But in later years I noticed that I didn’t actually have the skillset to become one, even though I’m still mesmerised by the planets and galaxies! I decided that I was really interested in psychology when I was in high school. My sister studied psychology so that probably had an impact on my decision as I knew how much she enjoyed her degree. Also, my Psychology teacher at high school was a highly influential person and she might have motivated me as well 🙂
