  Being able to explore the questions that interest me. As a student I was fascinated by why someone would lie and provide a false alibi for a suspect. I was able to then explore this for my MSc thesis and PhD to try and get some answers. Knowing that satisfying my curiosity is helping to change practice for the better is also really rewarding.
