All of the research that we do has the overarching aim of understanding real cases and behaviours so we can create real-world change. On our forensic psychology course we learn about real cases and think about what psychology tells us about what may have happened and how we could have acted differently to create different outcomes. Psychology has had a huge impact on police interviewing practice, police line ups, our understanding of eyewitness testimony, assessing and treating offenders… and much more!
