Question: How did you choose the field of developmental psychology?

I think it was due to my fascination about how infants learn and adapt to the world so quickly. I know, we are very (very!) slow in looking after ourselves compared to many other species who can stand up and wobble around a few minutes after they are born, but I still think the rapid development that children go through in the first couple of years of their lives is incredible! I thought it was extremely interesting to focus on children’s development for this reason 🙂
