      I got my work experience through my friends families, which I was very lucky for.

      If you are looking for more clinical work experience, I would suggest reaching out to any mental health charities, helplines or any organisations that work with people with intellectual disability, brain injury etc. They might be able to take you on as a volunteer, which looks great for work experience! It’s also worth contacting your local NHS trust to see if any clinicians could let you do a few days of shadowing.

      If you are interested in psychology research, I’d suggest sending a few emails to interesting-looking research groups. Academics are usually keen to take on a student for a short project, or point you to someone else who might help 🙂
