A great a-level teacher made the subject really fun and is what made me apply to study psychology at university. I specialised in forensic psychology once I learned how interesting it is!

I was only introduced to psychology at A-Level, so before then hadn’t considered it at all. I realised that it fit within my existing skillset because of the focus on critical thinking and writing (up until this point I had always planned to study English) but I also loved the investigation aspect, as well as learning about human behaviour.

Nope! I wanted to be a classical musician, a product design engineer, then did a degree in fashion design. Worked in PR and social media marketing for several years. One day a friend talked about a really great short course they’d done on psychology… and the rest is history!
