Great question! One topic I think of is ASMR. If you’ve never head of it before, ASMR is a response that some people experience after experiencing certain ‘triggers’ such as whispering, hair stroking, hand fluttering etc. Some research suggests that watching ASMR videos reduced stress and increases positive mood!
I really enjoyed understanding social behaviour and predicting behaviour from non verbal responses but never research it. If I started afresh I would be all over neuroscience and behavior such a fascinating area as we image and understand the brain more.
A good question, but a hard one to answer! Everything about human behaviour is fascinating – I have done a lot of study and teaching on biorhythms and sleep but I still find the area so fascinating and there is always more to learn, but not necessarily the time to do it!
