Usually starting with reviewing my inbox and answering the most important ones then it’s team meetings on research topics to discuss the study question and our approach mixed in with approving the ethics of others trial plans and reports. I’m not hands on anymore at my level so am leading other research teams but I do love to read and keep in touch with the latest psychology and training findings.

Everyday is different for me as a PhD student and I usually get to chose what to do each day. Most days I go into uni for 8.30am. I either test participants, clean data, analyse data, or write. I spend a lot of time answering emails or booking in participants. Sometimes I get the chance to learn about some new equipment in the department. Sometimes I have lab meetings, or one on one meetings with my supervisor. I usually leave uni at around 4.30pm, and spend the evening cooking and relaxing!
