Question: What interests you about researching Dementia?

The brain is so complex and with dementia there is currently no cure so it’s an interesting area of research because so much needs to be done. Not only do we need to find effective treatments, we need to figure out how to diagnose dementia earlier and quicker but also we can research and focus on barriers to diagnosis, care and support, addressing public attitudes towards dementia as well as identifying risk factors of dementis. So there’s lots of questions and problems that need solving in my field
