Some bits were definitely quite tricky – some of the neuroscience/biological stuff I found a bit more difficult! I revised doing practice timed essays to see what I could remember, lots of mind mapping, and Quizlet which I found to be a very useful app during my GCSE/A Levels, and even in university!
Any time we learn something new it can be a challenge, so there were definitely bits I found difficult! I found it really helpful to find research studies about each bit I was learning about because I find it easier to learn when I can see clear examples rather than very theoretical concepts. I liked to revise by explaining the things I was learning about to my friends and family – a great way to test how much you understand a topic is to try and explain it to someone else! 😊
I found most of it to be “ok” (a bit challenging but not too much) and I think the essay/long-answer questions were hardest to revise for. Doing lots of practice is helpful, but I also wish I’d spent a bit of time predicting other types of questions (because of course, your exam questions won’t be copies of past paper ones, but others in similar styles)
