Start revising early – they will sneak up on you! But most of all, revise in the correct ways. Re-reading or just re-writing your notes is not going to help very much. Practice past papers, figure out what you know, and what you need to learn most. I found mind mapping and Quizlet most useful. For example, I would make a mind map on a topic and start by writing down everything I think I know – then when I gave up I would check my notes and see what I missed that would be important for me to know and add it in!

Make sure you look after yourself 😊
It can be really easy to get caught up in everything while you’re studying for your A Levels, so make sure to take time away from studying to do things that you enjoy – it’ll make you more productive in the long run and will be really important for your wellbeing. If the stress does start creeping up, don’t be afraid to let people know and talk about it 😊

Talk to your teachers about your revision plan – even if you’re great at planning, it can help to make sure you’re not missing things that could help you. Ask them what topics or skills could make or break a grade for you personally.
