My job involves using my knowledge of Psychology, and child development to support children and young people between the ages of 0-25 with their learning, emotions, social skills and social communication and lots more.

We do this by working with their teachers, families and with the children and young people themselves. We do this through:

–  Psychological consultation

– observations

– standardised and non standardised assessment

– giving advice and recommendations to schools following assessment of a child’s needs

– therapeutic work

– training staff and parents

– running groups for pupils e.g. to support their emotions and/or social skills

– contributing to Education Health and Care plans
