Question: why is it that you would like to spend the prize money to go to schools as mental health for children has suffered but wouldnt it be more important to do an event that could reach out to everyone that this pandemic may have affected in terms of mental health?

Hi Emily, that’s a good point! If I had more time and more money available it would certainly be amazing if we could get everyone affected together, rather than just students. However, I personally think that students may have specific needs, some of the younger ones for example may need a it more information about what mental health is, what it means to have low mood or feel anxious for example. Coping strategies (which can help when people don’t feel well) are also potentially different for students than for people who are older or have different circumstances. So I would like to spend the money specifically on helping students 🙂
