Hi Lucy, I really liked the idea of becoming a chemical engineer it seems so cool, and I think it still is! But I just did not enjoy chemistry when I studied it A-level but actually I enjoyed psychology more, I was always really excited to go my lessons for psychology. I also really liked the debates we had about psychology, learning about past experiments and theories (Freud- interesting guy right? Maybe a bit weird). But what I liked the most is that there are so many different things you can do in psychology and when I was near the end of my a-levels I wasn’t too certain what I wanted to do (I never would have imagined I would be a researcher) so I liked the different possibilities of careers.
