Hi JoeL. I’m a resilience researcher, so I will say resilience. That said, the pandemic has shown how resilient children can be – many of them have adjusted to social distancing and how their learning environments have been altered.
With mental health problems being common among children and adolescents, teaching resilience at a young age is important. When they are resilient they are going to be more confident, curious, and adaptable to the world around them. These traits can enable them to forge a career in science.
