Question: If you could own any animal in the world, what would it be?

While I love animals, I can’t have pets because I have a rather busy lifestyle. And also before Covid, due to the nature of my job (among other things, I organise conferences in other countries), I’m out of the country at least twice a year. That said, it would be hugely unfair for the pet to be left on their own. But I did have a goldfish once, sadly it died within just a few months. After that, I was discouraged to have a pet anymore. But in the future, if my circumstances change, I would love to have a Basset hound – they’re irresistibly adorable breeds!
