      That’s an excellent question! I must say one thing first. British government’s gender regulations do not affect me so much, from my privileged position as a cisgender man. I think it would be interesting to hear answers from cisgender women and transgender people in general.
      That said, I believe I would change the current legal recognition (in passports and birth certificates, for instance) only for two genders (feminine and masculine). People have many more identities and expressions than that, and it is a shame – and painful – to be obliged to fit in one or another.
