At last a question I really know something about!

You are of course assuming that there are currently no such things as Zombies. Fortunately I also work in the Zombie Institute for Theoretical Studies (ZITS) here in Glasgow and despite extensive research we’ve not yet found any definitive evidence of the existence of Zombies. So you’re probably right. For further information you may want to visit our website (http://www.zombiescience.co.uk/).

Of course others disagree and claim that Zombies do really exist, for example George Romero in his 1968 documentary ‘Night of the Living Dead’. But our research suggests he has stumbled across tetrodotoxin poisoning in Haiti, not true Zombies.

So we really don’t know. But whether they exist or not, the key thing must be to be prepared!

Some people think that Zombie tales originate from people getting Rabies infections where you can froth at the mouth and feel the need to bit people. Those people can in turn get Rabies and the infection spreads. It’s very scientifically possible that you engineer a virus that would look like it made Zombies – although I’m not sure about raising from the dead………

Hmz, I’m a bit of a sceptic and I also scare pretty easily so no, I don’t think there could ever be such a thing as Zombies. Or at least, I don’t want to think there could ever be real Zombies.
