      You can – they are very different classes of pain killer so will not interact with each other. If both are taken together they have a very powerful painkilling action so should only be done under advice from a doctor. However there are certain circumstances in which a person should not take ibuprofen – if they have problems with their kidneys or stomach/intestines.
