• Question: Is it possible that everything we believe now is wrong?

      It is possible. I don’t know about everything being wrong though. But you may be right, since not too long ago we believed that if babies didn’t bond with their mum within a few minutes of being born that they would never really bond properly. Now we know that’s not true. Once we thought that pluto was a planet and that thinking has changed in our lifetime!

      Theoretically, I suppose that it is possible that everything we believe is wrong – but I imagine that this is only about as likely as the idea that we live in a simulation. It is certainly the case that many of the explanations we currently have for things will change, as we continue to discover more.
