Dearest kitsstephenson! Yes, it is interesting and doing psychology in A levels is recommended! A lot of the jobs require at least some post-grad work and I would recommend a PhD. So, it takes a lot of commitment. Some of the jobs you could get are:

1 educational psychologist – who manages the programmes at schools, taking into account the ability levels of the children. Or they may see children one-on-one and make recommendations.
2 forensic psychologist – who may work at a university doing science or hired out to legal teams to make recommendations for competency to stand trial or sentencing recommendations
3 clinical psychologist – who does treatments of patients
4 counsellor – who does treatment but with not too severe cases
5 university lecturer/scientist – who does research into any of the areas of psychology – cognitive, neuroscience, physiological, criminological, developmental, social, etc.

These are not all the jobs, but these are the ones I can think of right now.
The BPS has some good information here

      Good luck!
