Question: Out of what you have achieved through practical experiments, what are you most proud of?

Hi Tang – I’d say it was getting a fairly complex reaction to work in my films – I worked out how much of each protein to put into the films, and then made them. They successfully worked, although they were a bit slow (overnight reaction), and what was even cooler was being able to tell when the last step started working, since the reaction mixture started changing colour only at that point.

I’d say that usually the simpler experiments which yield a deep insight into your work are usually the most satisfying 🙂
