This is a very interesting question!
I dont know which species was the first ever recorded. However i know that a insect that all modern bees evolved from was alive 100 million years ago. A fossil was found in Burma. The ancient bee was preserved in amber. It looks half like a bee and half like a wasp so we think this is the insect that later evolved into bees and wasps and they became separate.
