      Hi Bethany,

      That is an awesome question! It turns out that as you get closer and closer to a black hole, time appears to slow down for an outside observer. This means that if someone were to watch you, they would see you get slower. This is called time dilation, and is a strange property of Einstein’s theory of relativity!
