Currently I’m investigating if people, including school pupils, after reading a transcript of a real Turing test conversation will they make the same mistake as the Turing test judges in the practical Turing test experiments that realised those conversations? Will the Transcript readers also find it difficult to correctly identify the human from their answers, or will they wrongly say the machine is human, because the machine’s answers appear natural?
You and your school can also take part in these Turing test transcript exercises. Do ask your teacher to get in touch.
