      Hello Hann,

We think in images and sounds, so I imagine people who are born without the ability to hear sounds could think and dream in images – the language of thought possibly does not need words. This is a fascinating area, indeed there is a book called ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep’ by Philip K. Dick, which was made into a movie called Blade Runner (set to be remade) – sorry turning the conversation to robots!!!

      Hi Hann,

That’s a great question. I guess language is just a form of communication, and maybe people who are born deaf would think/dream in some form of images? I’m not sure, though – sorry!

      Peter
