      Hi Callum,

Great question! In fact, before I started my PhD, I was working on ‘micro black holes’, which are black holes that are predicted to be produced when particles collide at high energies, but are on similar sizes to that of atoms! Because they are so small, they are also predicted to not last for long though before decaying into other particles, so may be a bit tricky to detect in experiments!
