Oh that’s a difficult question. I know that during the winter a honeybee hive of about 60,000 bees can work their way through about 20kilograms of honey. bumblebees are different because the live in much smaller colonies of between 30 and 100, and they don’t make as much honey. They also only need honey in the summer. I wouldn’t guess that a single worker bumblebee would make about an eggcup full of honey in its lifetime. This would be a cool experiment to do!
