• Question: why did you want to do blood tests for doctors to give the correct medicine

      Good question. A blood test can give a doctor some important information about why you a sick. Do you know that if you get infected by a parasite you have a specific white blood cell that can help destroy this invader?

    May times doctors will choose a medicine that has proven to be the best for that particular condition. However, it may not be effective to absolutely everyone, and it can even be harmful to some people. By choosing to do a blood test we can develop tests that will tell us with more certainty whether that medicine is the best for a particular individual.
