astronauts who go outside the ISS on space walks say that space smells like sausages.

On the ISS, they discovered that fire isn’t as hot, flames have a different shape (they’re more like a sphere) and sometimes they’re invisible!

Completely confused about the sausage fact, that’s mad.

      Hi Superstar!

I loved doing space as a topic at school! I hope you’re enjoying it too!

OK so here is a cool space fact: Did you know that a year on mercury is only 88 days? That means in Mercury years I am about 137!!! (now you can work out my age ha ha). How old would you be in Mercury years?

Now I didn’t know any really cool facts about the ISS so I had a look on the internet and found out some REALLY cool things!

1- It flies at 4.791 miles per second (7.71 km/s). Which is fast enough to go to the Moon and back in about a day!!!
2-It has 8 miles of wire just to connect the electrical power system!
3-It has a gym (very cool!)
4-211 people from 15 countries have visited it so far

Do you know any cool facts about the ISS? The NASA website has some really interesting facts that you might want to have a look at too: https://www.nasa.gov/feature/iss-facts

      Senga 🙂
