      Great question. I think both. It’s always good to have a challenge. Once you have mastered something it can sometimes feel effortless.It’s like playing a game – you have to test your skills and move onto the next level of challenge.

      Hi 865putk39!

      I’ve really only just started my “science journey”, I’m half way through a PhD and I find quite a lot of things very challenging, especially at the beginning when I didn’t understand some of the words that were used in science papers. Things get easier and easier though….although I’m not at the effortless stage yet lol.

      It’s certainly not effortless. I have been studying science at university for around 9 years and am really only just starting to do good scientific work! The effort is worth it though.
