• Question: How many years of collage did you do to get your degree?

      I did two degrees and they both took about 4 years each. So I was a student for 8 years! One was a normal university degree in mathematics and the other was a PhD which is a bit like ‘scientist training’, where you do research to try and discover or understand something that no one has before.

      i was about the same as Jake! i did a three year biology degree in Cardiff, and then another four year one in Edinburgh to become a specialist in bacteria.

      I did 4 years at university to get my degree in molecular microbiology and I’ve done 2 years of my PhD so far…I still have 2 to go though 🙂
