      hi 653putk33

I haven’t tested my own blood before, I’m actually not very good with needles, they make me feel a bit funny. It’s actually one of the reasons I decided to be a scientist and not a medical Doctor, blood and sick make me feel really gross.

BUT I have tested my own mouth “microbiome”. A microbiome is a word used to describe a collection of millions of tiny creatures called microbes all living together somewhere. We have millions of microbes (especially bacteria) living in and on our bodies and they do lots of jobs to help us to stay healthy. I decided to find out what microbes were living in my mouth……there were LOADS….literally millions. I had just brushed my teeth too!!! ha ha

      Senga 🙂
