• Question: Do sunscreens with higher SPF value block more UV light than sunscreens with lower SPF values?

      Yes, actually I think SPF measures the fraction of UV that gets through to your skin when you put it on. So an SPF of 5 means one fifth (1/5) gets through and an SPF of 10 means one tenth (1/10) gets through. They probably have to make sure everyone puts on the same amount when measuring that though don’t they?

      p.s. Make sure you use a high SPF sun cream so you don’t get burnt. I get sun burned easily and it sucks.
