There is every chance that your hair will regrow with or without treatment, but it may also fall out again. No one can predict when it might regrow or fall out. The course of the disease varies from person to person. Some people lose just a few patches of hair, then the hair regrows, and the condition never recurs. Other people continue to lose and regrow hair for many years. It may be best to speak to your doctor? 🙂
Best of luck with everything, and I hope it all goes well for you!
Hi, I can not give you a confident answer as this is not an area I am familiar with. Lowri seems to have given you a great answer and I would repeat what she has said. Talk to your GP and try to find a resolution that workd for you. I wish you all the luck and I hope you find a treatment that works.
Hairloss in childhood is not uncommon – I see people in my clinic with this problem all the time. I’m not sure about your specific case but there are many reasons why it can occur. Anxiety, ringworm, nutritional problems are some of the causes. However, in the majority of cases we don’t find a problem and the hair just grows back anyway!
Your GP would be very happy to help you with this problem.
Hi,
Unfortunately I am not able to comment on this topic…My best advice is to talk to your GP. I am sure he/she will help you as much as he/she can and will advise you on the best treatment.
All the best,
